Senior Home Food Delivery Program

The Healing Project is proud to partner with Central Texas Food Bank to help increase food access for seniors across Central Texas through our Senior Home Food Delivery Program.

This program is designed for adults ages 55 and older living in Travis, Williamson, Bastrop, and Hays Counties who may experience transportation, mobility, disability, or accessibility barriers that make it difficult to access groceries or food pantries.

Eligible participants may receive monthly food deliveries containing fresh produce and shelf-stable food items delivered directly to their home at no cost.

Deliveries are made in partnership with Amazon and are scheduled on Thursdays during assigned delivery weeks throughout the month.

Eligibility Requirements

Participants must:
• Be 55 years of age or older
• Live in Travis, Williamson, Bastrop, Bastrop, or Hays County
• Have a valid home address
• Have a working phone number for delivery communication
• Meet low-income eligibility guidelines or receive qualifying government assistance

Qualifying programs may include:
• SNAP
• TANF
• SSI
• Medicaid
• Medicare
• WIC
• CHIP
• Healthy Texas Women
• Veterans Benefits
• Social Security Benefits
• National School Lunch Program

How to Apply

Interested individuals must complete an interest form for preliminary eligibility screening.

Once submitted, a member of The Healing Project team will contact applicants Monday through Friday between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM to complete enrollment screening by phone.
