The Healing Closet
The Healing Closet is a free, community-centered space where individuals and families can access essential items with dignity, choice, and care. From food and household goods to household, hygiene products, and baby essentials, our goal is to support our community in meeting everyday needs while creating a welcoming and respectful environment.
This space is volunteer-driven, built by and for the community. Because of this, our hours and availability may shift as we continue to grow and build sustainable capacity. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to create an equitable and consistent resource for all.
The Healing Closet located at Northbridge Shelter (7400 North IH 35 Service Road, Austin, TX, 78752) operates by appointment only. All community members are welcome to shop once per month, ensuring that resources are shared fairly and reach as many families as possible.

We encourage you to check the appointment scheduler daily or weekly, as new time slots are added based on volunteer availability and capacity.

Important: If you have already received support through Healing on Wheels this month, you will not be eligible to book a Healing Closet appointment. Please choose the program that best aligns with your needs so we can make space for others who have not yet been served.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Missed appointments without notice (no-call, no-show) or lack of communication may result in a 60-day pause from accessing the Healing Closet.

Welcome to The Healing Project Healing Closet
The Healing Closet provides free hygiene items, household essentials, baby items, diapers (sizes 1–6), and limited food support to families in need.
Important Information
Appointments are required.
Families may shop once per month.
If you received support through Healing on Wheels this month, you are not eligible for a Healing Closet appointment this month.
Please do not bring additional guests to your appointment.
Due to the nature of our location, we recommend not bringing children unless necessary.
Need more food assistance? Ask us about local food resources and referrals.
Appointment Policy
If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours before your appointment. No-call/no-shows may result in a 60-day pause from accessing the Healing Closet.
Finding Us
We are located off the IH-35 Service Road. Turn right onto Delmar Street and make a quick left into the gate with the black tarp.
Upon Arrival
Check in with the security guard and let them know you are visiting The Healing Project.
Enter through the double doors and sign in at the front desk.
Follow the signs for "The Healing Closet This Way."
You may be directed by Endeavors staff to use the side entrance.
Follow all posted parking and directional signs.
