Our Purpose
At The Healing Project, we know access to housing, food, transportation, education, and mental health support is critical for our marginalized communities. By meeting these needs, we help people in Travis County and surrounding counties move toward sustainability, independence, and access barrier free resources.
By meeting these basic needs, we help HEAL individuals all of Central Texas towards self-sufficiency, empowerment, and community leadership.

Food Access Partnerships
Through our community partners, we provide free, nutritious groceries to families in need. This program helps eliminate barriers to food access across Austin, TX and surrounding counties, offering support with dignity and compassion.
The Healing Closet
The Healing Closet offers essential items to support our marginalized community members. Available items include household goods, hygiene products, Narcan, non-perishable food, baby and women’s care, and limited bus passes. We are who we serve—let’s create more healing closets all over the world together.
Healing in the Hood
Our Generational Health program promotes healing in the Hood by supporting whole-family wellness—mind, body, and spirit. We offer movement-based activities like meditation, yoga, sound baths, breathwork, and grounding practices for marginalized communities across Central Texas.
